Golf With Your Friends is getting a new round of content with the Sports Update, and it kicks off today.
Step up to the podium and look down in glee upon you compatriots as Golf with Your Friends gets a brand-new Sports Update today. The anarchic golfing multiplayer that has already caused so much strain to the bonds of friendship is about to get even more competitive.
The new content drop for this green gouging sim will add a whole new set of courses, covering 14 rounds of swings, misses, and maybe the odd hole in one. Split across a variety of candy lands, pirate coves, forests, and more, the silly setup for this popular putter will play host to as many as 12 players at once and provides plenty of new game modes. You’ll now be able to pick from Classic, Dunk and Hockey game modes or even customize your own. Further flexing their its creative muscles, Team17 has confirmed players will be able to change the game with power-up pick-ups that can trap foe…friends in honey, turn them into random shapes and even freeze yourself mid-air. This might not be the only golfing game available right now, but it’s certainly the sportiest sport that you can support.
If you’re ready to get back on the green, try on some silly new skins, and shot to score, then this new sports ball sim looks like its your game. If you’re unsure about when to use a wood and what a 9 iron is, then this wacky update will also accompany a Free Weekend Event on Steam, from 15-19 September, and a massive 67% discount on the base title on offer until 22 September. Xbox One owners with Xbox Live Gold can keep an eye open for free play events between 15-18 September and a 75% discount available in the Microsoft Store.
