Let’s Build A Zoo On Console

Let’s Build A Zoo, the gene splicing zoo sim, is coming to console and Game Pass on 29 September.

Get your Aliraffes and Catdogs ready, we’re about to put down foundations on a new zoo. This time, Let’s Build A Zoo is bringing its odd mix of Jurassic World Evolution turned barnyard business to consoles. In just two weeks, players will be able to create their own attractions, piecing together a visitor experience that melds gene manipulation and oversalting the snacks in the cutest animal show we’ve seen in years.

Initially launched on PC in November 2021, this venture will come to Xbox game pass, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 on 29 September, with a physical edition coming just a day later. This pixel art aesthetic takes players on a journey into business as a zoo tycoon dropping in both the base game and the recent Dinosaur Island DLC as separate digital downloads, while anybody endeavouring to pick up the hands on copy will get both of these bundled together, as well as the other boxed goods.

While this might seem like yet another management sim in a huge resurgence of late, there’s nothing quite like expanding your zoo with a gazelle that has the head of a chicken. With the option to expands physical infrastructure and create over 500,000 different crazy creatures, Let’s Build a Zoo should be on your playlist.
