Developers at Giant Space Monster have great news for fans of Immortal Darkness: Curse of the Pale King. From now through the foreseeable future, players can download a free PC copy of its dungeon-crawling ARPG straight from the game’s official site. According to the post on the official site, the download features “no spyware, no crypto miners, no malware, no data gathering or snooping, and no in-app purchases or paywalls.”

In addition to the great news of another awesome free game, developers also revealed that the downloadable version comes with several improvements and bug fixes. While owners of the Steam version can still play the game there, the client has not been updated. However, devs have it covered: The free downloadable version is compatible with Steam version saved games. The bonus of an improved client sweetens the deal.

Immortal Darkness: Curse of the Pale King is a dark fantasy dungeon crawler with challenging real-time tactical combat, a wide variety of spells, and a dark and brooding dungeon full of lethal enemies, sadistic traps, and mind-bending puzzles.
