Netflix Subscribers will get access to three iconic games when Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition lands in the Netflix games library.
Netflix has announced that small screen gamers have another bunch of big-name titles coming to their library soon. Anybody with an active Netflix subscription will unlock access to Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition on 14 December. The news means that both Android and iPhone owners who already pay for the online streaming service will be able to grab the ‘Definitive Edition’ of Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas for their small screen devices. While some of you might recognise this collection from it’s big screen release, the Netflix adaptation is fully reworked for mobile, and it will cost you absolutely nothing.
Grand Theft Auto III – The Definitive Edition
The game where Grand Theft Auto really took to Liberty City. This staple of the gaming market invites players to a massive open world full of stories and wild characters, all wrapped up in the ruthless life of professional crime.
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City – The Definitive Edition
Assume the role of Tommy Vercetti, in 1980s Miami. Take the former hit man on a tour of an even bigger open-world environment, explore the stunningly recreated cityscape, complete with iconic landmarks, neon-lit streets, and a pulsating soundtrack that captures the essence of the era. With its gripping storyline, diverse missions, and a vast array of weapons and vehicles at your disposal, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City offers an incredible gaming experience that will keep you hooked for hours on end.
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas – The Definitive Edition
Taking the drive by phenomenon to the state of San Andreas, this title offers an unprecedented level of freedom and fidelity, allowing players to engage in a wide range of activities such as driving, shooting, exploring, and even building your avatar’s physical abilities through training and eating. A huge storyline and deeper immersion make this an epic entry in the long running series.
Players who want to get in the game can already pre-register to play Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition. All you’ll need to do is head to the Google Play, App Store, or the Netflix App to find these mobile mastered editions and get them free and with zero adds or in game micro transactions. While I’ll still be waiting for the likes of Hades and Death’s Door to take up my commute time, this addition continues to enhance a very compelling lineup of subscription benefits for Netflix.
