Gridiron Game Mode Announced for Call of Duty: WWII

Sledgehammer Games has announced a new game mode that will be coming with Call of Duty: WWII. Called “Gridiron”, it allows you to carry the ol’ pigskin in war torn London.

According to GameSpot, the game mode is based on Advanced Warfare’s Uplink mode. However, because of the World War 2 setting, you’ll be using an old leather football.

We do know that the game will take place on a London map, though nothing specific was revealed. However, during the recent PC beta, data miners found something called London Docks. Perhaps this is the location of the new game mode.

A map that was revealed last week is called Carentan, a remade map from the original Call of Duty game.

If you’d like to know more about the game, you can head to the official site.
