Prime Gaming Gave Away $2,300 Of Games in 2022

The fantastic thing about PC gaming is the breadth of games, especially the free ones. Alongside some epic deals, Amazon’s Prime Gaming is one of the most cost-efficient ways to keep your own gaming catalog full of things to do for little to no money down. Bundled in as part of a household Prime subscription, the gaming arm of this online shopping giant is burdened with a heavy sack full of free games at the cost of $2300 per person.

In a new blog post, Prime Gaming wrapped up the year that’s just slipped past by tallying up every game they’ve given away. At MSRP we would’ve had to spend over $200 to get all of these, and no we haven’t played them all. Our monthly wrap up of upcoming Prime benefits also highlights more than just free games, however. Anybody with an existing Prime shopping account can log in and grab a whole treasure trove of in-game loot. We’d have loved to see the lineup of all the free booster packs, FUT cards, gems, and cosmetics we looted. That, however, might take all day to list.

If you’re already an old hand at this, then you can check out all the free titles you grabbed last year by using the new My Collection option. For next year. We’re hoping for plenty of free loot for Amazon’s upcoming Blue Protocol, among even more games for my mountain of shame. If you haven’t explored Prime Gaming yet, there’s still time to grab January’s loot.

Now, you will find me squawking across a multitude of sites and even getting to play games now and then
