October Prime Gaming is almost here and this month the free loot is warsome.
The latest installment of free goodies is about to unlock over on the Prime Gaming site, giving players a battlefield of new games and some shiny digital loot. Once October arrives, current Amazon Prime subscribers can grab this free stuff by logging onto the Prime gaming vault and claiming this list of amazing free games, and then step into battle.
Total War: Warhammer II
My own personal headliner for this battalion of free titles, Total War: Warhammer II is the second installment in this Total War spin off that drags players down into the trenches of classic Warhammer. Taking charge of an old school Warhammer faction and fielding a huge array of units, players picking through the remains of their enemies will cut through an expansive solo campaign while engaging in real time battles, and commanding massive armies.
With plenty of Chaos for fans of the Warhammer franchise and lots of engaging activities for players looking to delve into this fantasy world for the first time, Total War: Warhammer II is easily worth your time, as you try to beat the rest of this old world to victory.
Middle-Earth: Shadow of War
Another battlefield, a different franchise. Mordor is more your realm this time round with another sequel. This follow up to the Shadow of Mordor RPG throws players back into Middle Earth and gives them the role of a cursed warrior, out to turn over Mordor from within.
A vast and elaborate new look at the world of Tolkein, a wealth of ways to take down orcs, and a narrative that will appeal to fans of LOTRO and Th Witcher series awaits in Shadow of War
Fallout 76
25 years after a very different war and the world is over in Fallout 76. Now, you and your fellow Vault Dwellers emerge into post-nuclear America to explore a vast decrepit wasteland in this open-world multiplayer addition to the Fallout story.
The remaining free titles in October’s lineup are a little more laid back, with the adorable Horace jumping into a platforming adventure with a
robot out to learn about life, the universe, and Douglas Adams. This is accompanied by Glass Masquerade Origins, LOOM, and, Hero’s Hour. If you get through all of these before the End of October then I salute thee. I certainly won’t.
