Build a base and survive the deepest trenches of the ocean as Surviving the Abyss dives into Early Acces today.
Forget volcanic islands and hidden lava traps, there’s a chilling welcome waiting for players plunging into the depths of the freezing ocean and attempting to take on Surviving the Abyss today. Paradox Interactive, the outfit behind Stellaris, and Rocket Flair Studios have unveiled a new base building sim that brings a brand new challenge to seemingly everyday decisions.
Set against the backdrop of the Cold War, this new management title puts players in command of a deep water research laboratory. All alone in the darkness, the population of this isolated station must ensure their survival by building a self-sustaining habitation. Along the way you’ll expand the foundations of this enclosure to make more room for an increasing population, manage resources, and make sure at least some of your scientists survive.
Players will also encounter plenty of challenges that aren’t man made. With problems lurking just beyond the lights, waiting for any mistake or opportunity to reclaim the abyss as their own. Thankfully, human ingenuity and a bunch of scientists means plenty of discoveries are at hand to help you along the way, and hopefully conquer the low seas. The very first game from Rocket Flair Studios might be a hardcore outing into dangerous waters, but fans of Cities Skyline and Subnatica are bound to find a wonderfully watery adventure. You can find out more or pick up Surviving the Abyss for $19.99 on the official Steam Store page now.
