Hi-Fi Rush Drums Up Excitement For PS5 Release on 19 March 2024
Xbox console exclusive H-Fi Rush is sharing the love and heading to PlayStation platforms. Bethesda has officially confirmed that the musical brawler and breakout hit will port to PlayStation 5 on 19 march. The initial news of the leap onto team blue’s console made its way onto the internet as a trailer on Bethesda’s LATM YouTube feed last night. We now know that this is for real and everyone can enjoy one of 2022’s most exciting adventures.
Developed by Tango Gameworks, this bright symphony of action adventure and music plunges players into an urban sprawl that isn’t all it seems. Despite the inviting aesthetic, this world is ruled by the man. Playing as a wannabe rockstar Chai, players will usher this upstart rebel and his ragtag team of friends rebel against an evil robotics enhancement megacorp. You’ll exist in a world that moves to the beat of the music, wielding powerful combat abilities that are enhanced by keeping to the right tempo. Incredible moves, boss battles, and a slick animated aesthetic all come together across a multitude of game modes. Arcade is all about having a blast, Power Up! Tower Up! is a twist on the Rhythm Tower mod, and BPM RUSH tasks players to battle waves of enemies to music with a steadily increasing BPM. You can check out the action in the trailer, above.
