Studio Hoyoverse, the developers of Zenless Zone Zero and Genshin Impact, shared the latest trailer dedicated to a new battlesuit arriving in Honkai Impact 3rd and the development process behind designing and adding it to the game.
Over the past year, players have been submerged into the Elysian Realm with Mei, exploring the story of the Thirteen Flame-Chasers. This story started with Elysia, and now that a year has passed, the destination of the journey became the starting point. Watch the video above to see designers’ points when it came to creating Elysia, how they have reflected a beauty of humanity in her appearance and abilities.
“The gentle moonlight and starlight were woven into a fairy tale. The bountiful land gave birth to thriving new life. The flawless girl walked through the crowds and appreciated the beauty of mankind. The Flame-Chaser of Ego emerged in the doomsday, embracing love and kindness till the very end.
The Herrscher of Human became the new seed and bloomed into a flower of humanity on a thin branch. The flower’s name is Elysia.”
