Iconic Loot And Intense Action Are In Store As Sega Announces Hyenas

Sega Europe has just unveiled Hyenas, a cool new multi platform shooter, and closed alpha sign ups are already open.

The world is broken, and the only way to pay the bills is to fill your coffers with pop culture swag. While that might sound suspiciously like a trip to Anime Expo, it’s the premise behind Sega’s newest game. Revealed today and coming out of the Creative Assembly studio, Hyenas is a stellar looking multi platform competitive experience that will plunge players into a smash and grab.

Here’s The Job

To make sense of this upcoming adventure, you’ll need to skip forward a few years. In this future, the billionaires made it to mars. Unfortunately, the anti gravity systems that ejected them from our home also laid waste to it. The drifting slums of the taint are all that remain. In order to survive, players picking up Hyenas will have to dive into the remnants of a lost civilization to pick up pop culture trinkets for the obscenely wealthy. However instead of heading down to get it, you’re going to stela it back. I Hyenas, players will tool up and band together with a team of three to vandalize local loot stores and get out in one piece. Along the way you’ll compete against four other crews to get the juiciest haul between here and Mars.

Hyenas attempts to differentiate itself by unfolding a sandbox scenario full of opportunities for slick teams to exploit the environment, security networks, hired goons and competing crews to come out on top. Tons of weapons, zero gravity zones, and fast paced combat all look likely to combine in a furious flurry of destruction when any two teams meet. To get an idea of what’s in store check out the official trailer, and if you want to try out Hyenas before it arrives, head over to the official Hyenas website to sign up for testing now. Whether you are lucky enough to try it out or not, Hyenas will come crashing on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4 and PC in 2023.
