League of Legends – Meet Naafiri, the Hound of a Hundred Bites

Developer Riot Games is here to introduce the latest playable hero to join the roster of League of Legends. Meet Naafiri, the Hound of a Hundred Bites.

An ancient Darkin with incredible power, Naafiri was destined to lead her kin until her ambitions were cut short, having been entombed within a blade and imprisoned in a crypt deep beneath the Shuriman sands. One fateful day centuries later, Naafiri was set free and bound to a new host – or hosts – the Dune Hounds.

Where other Darkin have fought individually and suffered defeat, Naafiri embraced the strength that comes from her pack. What chance will the world have when the Darkin hunt as one? Learn more about the design choices behind Naafiri from the Champion Insights blog post. She will be stalking her prey across the Rift in patch 13.14.

Naafiri Abilities Include:

  • Passive – We Are More: spawns Packmates that attack the targets of her attacks and abilities.
  • Q – Darkin Daggers: hurls up to two daggers, each inflicting bleed, or each inflicting bonus damage if the target is already bleeding. Packmates leap to attack champions hit by this skill.
  • W – Hounds’ Pursuit: Naafiri and her packmates dash at an enemy, colliding with the first champion hit and dealing damage.
  • E – Eviscerate: dashes and damages enemies in an area, recalling and healing her Packmates to full.
  • R – The Call of the Pack: empowers her pack and spawns additional Packmates, gaining a burst of speed and vision and a shield when she attacks a champion. On first champion takedown, all effects are refreshed.
