From August 11th to September 8th, all Destiny 2 players will be able to take part in the annual Solstice of Heroes. This free event sees Eva Levante return to the Tower to kick off the celebration of the resilience of humanity’s Guardians. Everyone can set off on The Solstice Begins quest to unlock a special Solstice of Heroes music track.
During the event, players will take on Hive, Cabal, and the Fallen enemies that, once defeated, yield a treasure chest that can possibly contain Solstice of Heroes armor pieces. Leveling up is a breeze for those who gather Solstice Key Fragments that are used to unlock special packages “containing Powerful gear and new armor upgrades”. There are also two more Triumphs that count towards progression in the Moments of Triumph pursuit. Tess Eververse will have some brand new Ornaments for discerning Guardians as well as a new finisher, new accessories, and brand new emotes.

Destiny 2: Beyond Light is the next expansion to the game and it is expected to launch later in 2020. It will be available for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. D2 is also being optimized for play on PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series X when each one launches.
