Over the last couple of days, the Heroes of the Storm team has been back to teasing the community with cryptic images, depicting a set of minions fighting someone with the flashes of neon-green Fel from Warcraft universe.

At long last, the manipulative dreadlord Mal’Ganis, deceiver of Arthas, is ready to put into motion his plans for the ripe, unsuspecting Nexus. Mal’Ganis is a life draining Warrior that specializes in disrupting his enemies to push an advantage for his team. Tread carefully when trying to outsmart a dreadlord, he’ll twist fate at a moment’s notice by evaporating into bats, or worse, making your life his own.
Mal’ganis in Warcraft Universe
Mal’ganis made his first appearance during the RTS Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos. He is the Dreadlord behind the plague infecting the grain supplies of Andorhal which lead to young Prince Arthas committing the Culling of Stratholme, chasing the Dreadlord to Northrend and ultimately becoming the Lich King.
The quote from the Twitter post is one of the most iconic speeches of Mal’ganis in the game:
I’ve been waiting for you, young prince. I am Mal’Ganis.
As you can see, your people are now mine. I will now turn this city household by household, until the flame of life has been snuffed out… forever.
