Moss Book II Is Coming To PSVR

During Sony’s latest State of Play, a tiny adventurer returned as Polyarc announced Moss Book II.

Developed by the same studio that brought the original Moss life on PlayStation and PC VR systems, Moss Book II is the follow up to this 2018 original. Polyarc dropped a brand new trailer for the second in the Moss franchise, inviting players to join the game’s mighty little mouse, Quill, as she takes on an even greater danger to the world than before.

It’s a welcoming surprise to see Quill pop up on the PSVR release list again, and it seems Polyarc we’re inspired by the first game’s reception.

“We were blown away by the reception from fans to the Moss story. Players built an extraordinary bond with Quill. Countless emails, tweets, streams, and fan art postings made us feel like we had created something special,” said Josh Stiksma, principal software engineer and design director, Polyarc. “We’ve since poured our hearts into ensuring Book II is a worthy continuation of Quill’s journey, and hope fans around the world are ready to join Quill in the next chapter of her story.”

The second chapter picks up directly after the close of the original. After successfully rescuing Quill’s uncle Argus, it becomes clear that there’s a malevolent force atop the hexed castle of the Arcane. This winged tyrant has turned its focus on Quill and it’s up to players to guide Quill through dangerous enemies, challenging puzzles, and a new narrative. We’re expecting to see but new allies, old friends, and find out more about this enemy terrain when Moss II comes to PlayStation VR

While we don’t have a definitive release date, we love the original and it might even be enough incentive for me to pick up a PSVR headset when Moss Book II launches. For now, you can check out last night’s trailer above or find out more on the Polyarc website
