Glassbreakers: Champions of Moss Marks its Open Beta

Glassbreakers: Champions of Moss launched an open beta test over the weekend, giving VR gamers a chance to try out this upcoming battle.
Moss, the adorable mousey adventure from Polyarc, just took a very different turn with the open beta test for Glassbreakers: Champions of Moss. The gigantic escapade of small stature has broken out into the PvP arena. Available to try out now, Steam players with SteamVR-compatible headsets including Quest 2, Quest Pro, Rift, Index, and HTC Vive can now download and play the game. Both Steam and App Lab players can play against each other thanks to crossplay too.

For those used to one of VR’s best narrative puzzlers, this new take on the franchise is a little different. Picking from a range of familiar faces, competitors can gather a group of three Champions. Each Champion comes with their own set of special abilities, making teams unique and bringing an endless variety to gameplay. Once prepared, step into the arena and proceed to conquer your friends and fellows in 1v1 matches.

The ingenious new idea still comes form the same Seattle developer that made the original Moss so unique, but with an entirely different take on the universe. If you can build the perfect team, leveraging tactical elements, and gain a strategic advantage on the game board, then this free to play title will be nothing but wins. To get an idea of the challenge ahead, have a look at the trailer above, and head over to the Steam store page to try out Glassbreakers: Champions of Moss
