NCSoft Announces Second Open Beta for Battle Crush

NCSoft has announced the second open beta test for its cross-platform brawler, Battle Crush. Players can participate from March 21st to March 28th without a complicated sign-up process. Simply download the game for PC via Steam or for Android mobile devices via Google Play. Android players will need to enter their email addresses and answer three brief questions to register.

Battle Crush is the latest action-driven character brawler where players choose from a number of “Calixers,” or heroes chosen by the gods. Their goal is to become one of 30 Calixers to drop into the arena, battle it out for supremacy, and be the last one standing. Each round lasts a mere eight minutes, and the ground constantly collapses around the edges, making the battlefield smaller over time.

A few months ago, developers took to the airwaves to show what the game is all about, including a terrific look at the explosive action.

Features include

  • Special Skills: Combine 7 types of skills to enjoy satisfying gameplay, such as Light Attacks that consist of quick moves and combos and Heavy Attacks which knock enemies back with big blows. Remain invincible as you charge up your Ultimate, and dodge incoming moves following up with a quick counter with Dodge Attacks.
  • Treasure Chests and Items: Find the treasure chests and items scattered around the field. Items will help you survive, and gear will make your Calixer stronger. Mythic weapons obtained from unlocked treasure chests will grant you power to reign over all others.
  • Calixers and Their Unique Action Skills: Poseidon, Hades, Medusa, Hermes, and other mythological figures have arrived at the arena looking more fabulous than ever. Each Calixer has their own story and unique skills. Choose your favorite Calixer and become the hero of this story!
  • A Variety of Game Modes: Battle Royale, Brawl, Duel, all of which can be played Solo or with a Team
