New Trailer and New Servants for Fate Samurai/Remnant Pre Orders

Fate Samurai/Remnant Pre Orders are open and Keo Tecmo has kicked for the pre-release hype with a brand new set of servants.

The Fate series is a long a complicated maze of mythos, confusion, and some epic design. What better to keep us guessing how it all fits together with even more new heroes of old. Koei Tecmo and developer Omega Force have just revealed two servants as part of the second teaser trailer for upcoming Fate instalment, Samurai/Remnant. The new trailer showcases the identity and motivations behind two new heroes, returned from death to do battle in a war for a magical wish granting Grail.

For anybody trying to catch up with the Fate lore, this instalment drops players into Edo era Japan. As part of a recurring cycle, powerful magicians pull dead heroes from across time and space, resurrecting their spirits to do battle in an effort to gain one wish.

In Samurai Remnants, we follow young samurai Miyamoto Iori alongside his servant Saber. Here, a battle between seven pairs of masters and servants is about to begin as the “Waxing Moon Ritual” unfolds in the shadows. The title looks likely to mix Action RPG elements with the potential for some Dynasty Warriors combat, if the trailer is any indication. In addition to the story, this trailer gives us a glimpse of both the “Archer” and “Assassin” heroic spirits. These warriors do not have their own Master to wield them, instead allowing players to build a bond with them and ask them to aid in the overall narrative. The newest title in this long running series will include a range of these Rogue Servants, alongside new gameplay elements like the Spirit Font Conflict map. Suffice to say, this is something of a step away from the mobile titles like Fate Grand Order

Players looking to pick up Fate Samurai/Remnant can already pre order the title now and pick up the Phantasmal Dress cosmetic. Expect to adventure across Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Windows PC via Steam around 29 September 2023. Find out more now on the official website,
