Party Royale Mode Enters Fortnite

Ready to party hearty? If so, then the arrival of Party Royale in Fortnite might be just the ticket. Party Royale mode is a weapons-free event that includes a live concert featuring Dillon Francis, Steve Aoki, and deadmau5. The concert will take place on the game’s main stage at 6:00 pm Pacific/9:00 pm Eastern on Friday, May 8th. According to the game’s official site, the concert will last an hour. Players unable to attend the live version won’t miss it altogether. The concert will be rebroadcast on May 9th at 11:00 am Pacific/2:00 pm Eastern.

The entire island will become a party venue for the duration of the event. It’s a weapons-free, building-free safe zone that is packed with fun things to do like skydiving and boating. In addition, players can take home Neon Wings Back Bling just for logging in between May 8th and May 11th.

Race around obstacle courses by land or sea. Go fishing with friends, perfect your skydive, and get up close and connect with some of your favorite artists. Hop on the party bus and enjoy the ride.”
