PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has seen a steep start as a Steam Early Access title. It is a Survival shooter that throws people on a deserted island Erangel and also provides them with means to destroy each other. However, currently, the game is only available for PC.
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Heads Out To Consoles
The team is currently hard at work on getting the PC version done and adding more game modes. Additionally, as Business Insider learned from the game’s creative director Brandan “PlayerUnknown” Greene:
We have a team working already on looking to port it to at least the Xbox [One]. We’re looking at both consoles of course, but we have no time frame for both.
In other PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds’ news, the game’s popularity just helped to save lives. The 2017 Charity Invitational encouraged Twitch viewers interested in streamers competing in DUOS mode to donate. The proceeds went to Gamers Outreach.
In celebration of reaching 2 million games sold, Bluehole will be matching every dollar contributed up to $100,000! Help unlock these funds by spreading the word and making a donation to the campaign!
With the donations reaching $122,000, the total contribution comes to $222,000.

Wow. This game is the new DayZ. Only it’s actually making progress and seems to have no sign of slowing down.
