PlayStation Now Subscribers are getting four new games for December, including the recently released GTA III: The Definitive Edition.
After launching across a whole host of platforms barely a couple of months ago |Rockstar’s reworking and rebugging of the GTA III series is coming to PlayStation Now. Subscribers to the Sony streaming service will get 4 new games in their online library in December, with the Grand Theft Auto instalment taking the headline. GTA III: The Definitive Edition will arrive, alongside the rest of the lineup, but will only be available to play until 31 January. That’s not a lot of time to explore every nook of Liberty City, as you take on the criminal underworld of this newly revitalized city and play your way. Thankfully, players picking up the PlayStation Now version should see the addition of the 1.03 patch, fixing a trunkful of the more visible and game breaking bugs that were shipped alongside the rerelease of this genre classic.
Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster
December also heralds the introduction of three more games to this catalog that don’t come with the pre attached expiry date. The first of these is Final Fantasy X/X-2 Remaster. Originally a Playstation 2 release, this particular remaster should be a far less buggy experience than Rockstar’s and is generally considered to be one of the best RPGs of its generation.
Players booting up this adventure will be taken to Spira―a world terrorized by the supernatural monster Sin. Playing as Yuna, a young woman from Besaid, players can set out on an epic quest to defeat this terror during Final Fantasy X, while X-2 returns to the world after the fallout of the first title. We’re not going to ruin it any more than that.
John Wick Hex
John Wick Hex is indeed based on the hugely popular film series and stars the eponymous John Wick. This film franchise spin off is a mix of high paced martial art action and chess that plays heavily on real time strategy but looks as balletic as you’d expect from the name.
Spitlings
Spitlings s a co-op multiplayer that puts players in charge of a Spittling. These globular little miscreants are out to clear the screen of all the bubbles bouncing around the screen. It sounds easy but this platform co-op chaos is harder than its simplistic graphics make it out to be. Probably one for parties we’d guess.
