Prime Gaming, Amazon’s Twitch gaming spin off has just revealed a horde of free add ons for subscribers, coming in February.
After a long dark month, Prime Gaming subscribers will be happy to hear there’s absolutely no need to go outside. Just stay in and play some free games instead. The Amazon gaming giveaway for February is coming and we now know exactly what players can grab for free. Beginning in February. Headlining the free stuff are the games, of course. This includes Stellaris, Ashwalkers: A Survival Journey, As Far As The Eye, Double Kick Heroes, and Golazo! Soccer League.
Gamers familiar with strategic titles will recognize this 4X grand adventure produced by Paradox. Taking a top down approach to the galaxy, Stellaris revolves around empire management and expansion. With all the tools to keep a growing populace happy, players will need to explore the deep regions of outer space, keep their conquered territories in line and abundant, while haggling with other space faring races to avoid falling under the heel of a more powerful force. After launching in 2016, this massive title still has plenty to offer with tons of available updates, fan mods, and a rush of new players likely after the Steam Lunar Sale.
Ashwalkers: A Survival Journey
Ashwalkers: A Survival Journey is a much simpler affair than empire management. Instead, players picking up this 2021 title for free will be faced with one task. Survive! This is a largely choice driven escapade, described by the game’s website as a “survival journey through a harsh world without rules or judgment.” Only your choices matter in this harsh new winter, with the option to manage your food and equipment long enough to find a way through some tough moral dilemmas. Coming out of Nameless XIII, a studio formed by one of the Dontnod founders, there are plenty of interesting ideas here.
As Far As The Eye
blending gorgeous bright graphics with city building and turn based gameplay, As Far As The Eye is yet another mix of management and survival but with a very different take on the whole experience. As you build a mobile village, you’ll travel with your tribe, taking on a roguelike turn-based resource-management game filled with allies, enemies, choices, random events, and plenty of upgrades to keep you safe from harm.
Double Kick Heroes
Double Kick Heroes is survival of a different type. Somewhere between the walking dead and Gunman Taco Truck, this ridiculous metal adventure takes a heavy metal band, a zombie movie, and an all American road trip and puts the pedal to the kick drum. There’s much to say but you’re better just taking this rhythm blasting zombie beater and giving it a try.
Only your choices matter in the face of moral dilemmas. Manage your party, food, and equipment to find your way through a non-linear narrative survival sim with more than 30 possible endings.
Golazo! Soccer League
Kicking off back in 2020, Golazo! Soccer League has already brought its own twist on classic arcade soccer sims to Steam with very positive reviews. Now players can take on this fast fast arcade action sports adventure without too much training. If you loved Sensible Soccer or the old PS1 days of arcade football games then you’ll likely adore Golazo! Soccer League.
All of the above free games will appear on Prime gamin’s homepage across February, but that is hardly the tip of this loot chest. This month, subscribers can get tons of loot. The big names include Amazon’s new release, Lost Ark. It’s not out quite yet but when it drops you’ll be able in game items that include a Battle Pack Item with a Crystaline Aura, Amethyst Shard Pack, and Battle Chest Bundle.
In addition to this expect to see more loot for Doom, with the There Can Be Oni One Content Pack, a Final Fantasy Brave Exvius: War of the Visions Select Awakening Prism x50 Summon Ticket, and the usual FIFA points. We’ve dropped the full list below.
