Radio the Universe Demo Celebrates a Decade of Development

Radio the Universe demo

Sixesixesixe has announced that eager action-adventure fans can finally check out Radio the Universe thanks to the arrival of a new demo. After a successful Kickstarter campaign and nearly a decade in development, the team behind the game is ready to show off their work. The demo made its debut during this week’s Steam Nextfest with players able to download it right away.

The game combines action, exploration, and an appropriately spooky soundtrack to create a minimalist journey. The action takes place in a large futuristic city. Players take on the role of a wanderer, endlessly traveling through a city packed with a number of different “biomes.” These include everything from subterranean railways to grand government buildings.

The task is simply to stay alive in this never-ending maze. As players move through the game’s levels, they’ll collect a number of weapons, take on a variety of enemies, fight bosses, and more. Learning the rules of this bizarre reality is key to success.

Features

  • Explore Dreams and Nightmares. Travel through thematically varied zones around a central hub. Take in the grand architecture, scifi vistas, and sinister hallways while fighting off dangerous enemies, all rendered in a novel retro art aesthetic.
  • Fight to Survive. Radio the Universe combines heavy action with atmospheric exploration. Equip powerful weapons and prepare for the dangers ahead.
  • Plan and Upgrade. With a unique progression system, unlock improvements and abilities to always stay one step ahead. Try both simple and complex playstyles and find what works best for you.
  • Take on Powerful Foes. The world of Radio the Universe is full of dangerous enemies and formidable bosses. Stay vigilant and utilize the tools at your disposal to take them down.
