There’s a new headset on the market from Nacon, the RIG 900 MAX HX

You might have missed it in among the convention season chaos but Nacon’s RIG audio brand dropped a new premium headset earlier this month. The 900 MAX HX sits firmly in the top tier of RIG’s hardware catalogue adding dual wireless, Dolby Atmos, and a whopping 60 hours of raid time to your gaming setup.

The new RIG 900 MAX HX brings a ton of features to Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, and PC gaming, coming in above the 600 series. It is now available from online retailers and the RIG website, coming in at around $249.99 or local equivalent. While this might sound like a pricey option for some audio action, it crams in a ton of features. The high-sensitivity 40mm audio drivers with enhanced bass should hopefully be at the core of this experience and immerse you in the action. These are positioned inside a pair of dual-material noise-isolating earcups and a lightweight frame. Wireless options abound here, with Dual-mode wireless offering 2.4GHz wireless and Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity. Dolby Atmos surround sound tops off the package, ticking all the boxes we’d expect for a top end headset.

All this is powered by 60 hours of on-board battery, and comes with a slick looking charging stand. Whether it is up to the price tag, we will have to wait and find out. You can find out more about the RIG 900 MAX HX on the official website now.
