Tripwire Interactive and Antimatter Games have announced the second round of winners in a contest rewarding modding and map making in the Rising Storm 2: Vietnam Modding Contest. Inspired by their own success in Red Orchestra: Combined’s 2004 “Make Something Unreal” contest, Tripwire Interactive wanted to continue the legacy of generosity within the modding community.
“Tripwire Interactive would not exist today without our founding members’ earlier successes in the modding community with Red Orchestra: Combined Arms,” said Alan Wilson, Tripwire Interactive’s Vice President.
After awarding a total of $12,500 in prizes to their first-round winners, Tripwire Interactive piled on another $27,500 in prizes during the second round. Not only will the winners receive these cash prizes, their content will be officially featured in Rising Storm 2: Vietnam.
“This is our way to continue support for the mod community that eventually helped our company build successful franchises, like Rising Storm and Killing Floor,” Wilson continued. “We look forward to seeing more great content from our creative community of creators.”
Rising Storm 2: Vietnam is currently available for purchase on Steam.
