Runescape, the massive MMORPG from UK studio Jagex, is preparing for its biggest boss battle yet, with the Twilight of the Gods quest.
As of today, players in the iconic realm of Gielinor can take on an epic new adventure with the new Twighlight of the Gods quest. Bridging the gap between the Elder God Wars and the upcoming Zamorak boss battle this new quest line will help players sharpen their blades before taking on the Lord of Chaos. With at least a little time before the final face off against this monstrous foe, players picking up the latest Runescape adventure will find themselves involved in a lore laden quest, here they will explore multiple key locations and solve a variety of puzzles to find a cure for a mysterious demon illness.
Along the way, some key items will help buff Runescapes population before the aforementioned challenge. Anybody successful will find themselves rewarded with five Zamorak Reroll Tokens – which will also be available as drops from Elder God Wars Dungeon bosses – as well as a special item that will provide a 10% damage reduction against The Dark Lord in combat.
This essential damage reduction item isn’t all that adventurers can look forward to. There’s also a cosmetic transmogrification item that transforms players into an abyssal form, as well as experience lamps for Magic and Divination.
