Pearl Abyss and Kakao Games have announced “Season Servers” for its MMORPG Black Desert Online. The Summer Season server has already launched and will only be available through September 2nd.
When seasonal servers launch, all players will be required to start a fresh new character to ensure that all are starting off on the same footing at the start. Players will enjoy a 100% experience bonus and will attain skills at a faster rate. Seasonal servers will also offer players Tuvala items that can be converted to boss gear items when the server closes and characters are migrated back to their regular servers.
In addition, players will also be able to take on a number of summer season challenges that offer players more rewards. For example, reaching level 10 will provide players with a Leveling Aid Box that provide players with items and instant buffs.
