Silent Hope Opens With A Gorgeous New Anime

Silent Hope is preparing players to enter a brand new adventure with an opening anime that features KAMI WA SAIKORO WO FURANAI.

Publisher Marvelous just dropped a teaser trailer with a difference. Unlike the usual deluge of in game action and cute characters we’re used to seeing before a game goes live, upcoming action RPG Silent Hope got an anime opening. The new animated trailer not only provides a stylized introduction to ta new world and its heroes, but also features viral music group KAMI WA SAIKORO WO FURANAI.

It’s probably no surprise that Marvelous and XSEED would eventually just tilt into full anime territory, having imported a whole host of Eastern entertainment titles for us to enjoy. Now, fans of dungeon crawling battles can get to know the showcases the seven heroes of this game in a more relaxed setting. The breif glimpse into this magical world joins the protagonists as they enjoy a bit of downtime at Base Camp before venturing into the Abyss to take on the enemies that lurk within its depths.

The rock band featuring Shuusaku Yanagita on vocals, Kiichi Yoshida on guitar, Gaku Kiriki on bass, and Ryousuke Kurokawa on drums complements Silent Hope’s wordless world with an energetic original song, setting players up for the perilous journey that lies ahead. Anime Enthusiasts might recognize the musings of this group from World Trigger.

Anybody who didn’t catch earlier announcements for this beat or eat adventure still has time to decide if they want to pick up a sword and enter a magical realm, trapped in an endless chasm known as The Abyss. Merging classic RPG dungeon crawling with rougelike experiences, this is certainly not your everyday Isekia. XSEED Games will be publishing the Nintendo Switch version in North America and the PC via Steam version worldwide.
