The adventures of Captain Christopher Pike, Number One, and Spock will soon grace our television sets. May 5th can’t come soon enough for us Trek fans as we wait for the new adventure of the Starship Enterprise. While it may not be the Enterprise of Kirk yet, it is a ship that we saw in Discovery season 2 and we fell in love with it.
As opposed to how Discovery follows one straight episodic story line, Strange New Worlds is said to return to the new story every episode type of Star Trek a lot of us grew up with. It is more interesting to me to watch new different stories each week rather than watching one story all season long. It gives you more to look forward to. Personally I hope the return is true.
Star Trek is a show that my father showed me when I was a young kid and it stuck with me. It is pivotal in showing how well people can treat other people if they just decide to be a force for good in our world.
