Strayed Lights, the gorgeous new exploration game from Embers, just unveiled a new accolades trailer.
Celebrating a positive reception all around, Developer Embers just released a new trailer for the beautiful RPG Strayed Lights. Available now across Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, this adventure has averaged a range of reviews that put it firmly in the buyable category across Open Critic an Metcritic. Now, Embers want to show us all why we need to put this on the top of our play list.
The new peek at a dream like fantasy world, delves into the tale of light and dark. It follows the player protagonist through a range of sweeping open environments and dark caverns as they venture out to reclaim a light torn form them. As a Newborn flame, this entity must battle inner demons and deformed monsters to reclaim the light. Along the way, players will experience a deeply cinematic journey that is absolutely wordless. This does not stop the luminescent forests and abandoned caves from being any less immersive, however. A compelling soundtrack from the mind of Austin Wintory, of ABZU and Banner Saga fame, also plays centre stage across this new teaser.
While I’m still hoping to get some time to sit down with Strayed Lights during the next Uk Bank Holiday, this new look at the gorgeous trailer makes sure that I’ll be putting it near the top of my must play list.
