Developer Blizzard Entertainment has announced that World of Warcraft: Dragonflight Season 2 is now live as a part of major update Embers of Neltharion. Along with the new raid, Dragonflight Season 2 features new PVP and Mythic+ season to bring players new challenges and rewards.
New Raid: Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible. It is in this secret laboratory that Neltharion created the dracthyr and ultimately succumbed to the whispers of the Old Gods and their corruption. Players will face nine new raid bosses in an effort to thwart the incarnates as well as Scalecommander Sarkareth, whose forces seek to claim the legacy of the dracthyr.
New Mythic+ rotation: Major changes to the Mythic+ system include the removal of a seasonal affix, as well as a revamp of the base affixes. Additionally, the remaining Dragonflight dungeons will enter the fray (Brackenhide Hollow, Halls of Infusion, Uldaman: Legacy of Tyr & Neltharus) with four dungeons returning from past expansions will provide new challenges to keep the M+ rotation fresh: Freehold (Battle for Azeroth), The Underrot (Battle for Azeroth), Vortex Pinnacle (Cataclysm), and Neltharion’s Lair (Legion).
