New World is set for some humongous summer fun with new Prime Loot and the Summer Medleyfaire.
Dust yourself down and take a break from the Blood of the Sands update with some summer fun in Amazon’s own MMORPG. Adventurers in Arkesia can set their sights on music, merriment and free loot this month with the arrival of the Summer Medleyfaire. The incoming festival will strike up the band on 19 July 2023. It might not change your fete, but it will bring back a ton of hero titles, angling activities, and musical challenges to your realm.
Strewn across Summer Villages in Brightwood, Everfall, Weaver’s Fen, and Monarch’s Bluffs, players will be able to take on a bunch of transient content. New players can complete the original seasonal quests, while those back for an encore can strive for additional rewards. Musical fans can see the Maestro to purchase music, including the new ‘YAAHH’ song. Once you’ve got your sheet, jump into a rhythm activity and master the event for Premium Medleyfaire tokens, event experience, and in game buffs. While the Maestro NPC has one new track, a whole album of new sheet is on offer. The full list includes:

While music makes up a huge part of the seasonal fun, fishing is too. While I’m more familiar with the Guild Wars 2 fishing line, I’ll likely still be out to catch a few of the famed Aeternum Sturgeon to net special seasonal rewards. A special questline and new bait will add plenty of deep-sea action to new World.
Prime Loot
If you’re not any good at fishing, then Prime Gaming just opened up a whole new box ‘o loot for this month too. Between now and17 August, Prime subscribers can unlock the Frontier Supply Crate on the Prime gaming website. This contains Vial of Suspended Azoth x10, Runestone Stopwatch x1, Umbral Shard x500, Firewood Pile x1, Old Log Stool x2, Vegetable Boil x10, and Gypsum Orb x5. Even better, it doesn’t smell like sturgeon either. If you’re really quick, you might even grab the Prime Bounty Cache! Which disappears today. That adds another Firelight Tower Shield Skin x1, Prime Blue (Dye Pack) x5, Gypsum Orb x5, Desert Sunrise x10, Powerful Honing Stone x3, Acid Tincture x3, and Powerful Gemstone Dust x3 into your inventory.
