The Callisto Protocol Has A Gruesome New Redband Trailer

The Callisto Protocol just dropped a new uncensored trailer for this upcoming sci-fi horror and this type of redband has nothing to do with festive ribbon.

Initially announced by Distance Studios and KRAFTON, The Callisto Protocol is a sci-fi horror title that throws us into the year 2320 for an unnerving adventure. Announced not all the long ago during this year’s Game Awards with a slightly more sedate version of this trailer, The Callisto Protocol might very well scratch that Dead Space itch you forgot you had. After all, it’s being put together by many of the same team that built the genre classic. Now that same team has dropped a new version of the earlier cinematic announcement that should better let us all know what we are in for, and it’s got our attention.

Set on Jupiter’s moon Callisto in the year 2320, The Callisto Protocol is a new take on next-gen survival horror. If you adored getting clawed to pieces trying to survive Alien Isolation then this new challenge asks you to escape the maximum-security Black Iron Prison and uncover its terrifying secrets. A blend of horror, action, and immersive storytelling, the team behind this less than festive encounter are aiming pretty high.

As we noted before, there’s not a ton more information on The Callisto Protocol but if the new trailer is anything to go by, you’ll want to pick up some next-gen hardware to keep up with it. You can check out the official website for more detail now and check out the full redband trailer above. Do please note that this is an age-restricted uncensored trailer so if you don’t like staring into the void you might want to skip on this one.
