Throne and Liberty Is Coming West Via Amazon

THRONE AND LIBERTY player against a night sky

Throne and Liberty, the upcoming MMORPG from NCSoft is coming out of Korea thanks to a publishing deal with Amazon games.

The team that will bring Blue Protocol to western audiences continues to add to its library of incoming titles with the news that Amazon will publish Throne and Liberty across North America, South America, Europe and Japan. NCSoft announced the deal to publish its newest MMO last night, and it means player across PC, Xbox, and PlayStation can expect to get in on the loot.

Rising from the ashes of Lineage Enteral in 2011, Throne and Liberty is squarely in the NCSoft stable. This fantasy MMORPG takes place in a huge shifting world where the lines between victory and death endlessly shift. Players who jump into a vast play space will find constantly shifting geographical and environmental features influence the outcome of battles. Gorgeous backdrops and beautifully designed characters might distract slightly during the title’s massive-scale player vs. player and player vs. environment encounters. For a twist, warriors who choose to jump into this adventure will be able to transform into animals. If you are eager to soar through the air or explore the depths of the sea without the need for a mount, then Throne and Liberty is not all that far away.

Expanding Realms

This move to make the future of the MMO Market all its own is part of a continuing expansion for Amazon’s gaming division. While Microsoft and Sony busily battle it out in the courts, Amazon has been grabbing a select share of the market. Not content with just giving away Prime Gaming bundles, Amazon has agreements in place to bring Blue Horizon, New World, Lost Ark, the next Tomb Raider, and more to gamers. Throne and Liberty is expected to land sometime this year, find out more on the official website.
