Say hello to a new teammate, game mode, and more in the mobile RPG Tower of God: New World.
Netmarble has announced a swathe of new additions to anime inspired mobile adventure Tower of God: new World. The collectible card game RPG is set to lend players an extra pair of hands in the form of Verdi. This new SSR draw (Purple Element, Ranged, Anima), is a member of Team Shibisu who is also known as ‘Dollmaker.’ Available after completing an in game event, she can turn any attractive people she meets into her living dolls. Those who underestimate her due to her small size will be stunned and blinded by the octopus doll she summons.
Verdi will unlock for players as part of the New Year Bingo. Running from today and closing out on 18 January, anybody who logs in for 14 days can grab this powerful new ally. You will likely need all the help you can get too. The changing seasons also bring a Tower of Alliances game mode. This new challenge pits Alliances against each other. A player’s Alliance will be matched against another random Alliance of the same rank. Players can unleash each Alliance member’s characters to the floors of the Tower of Alliances, and once dispatched, they can conquer the opposing Alliance’s Tower starting from the ground floor. The winning Alliance will be determined by the total number of occupied floors.
This isn’t all you can expect either. The latest update includes a new side quest called ‘Verdi’s Hobbies’, additional costumes for Verdi, a check-in event, and a Formation Strategy Event. The check-ins start on 3 Jan – 18 January, while the Formation Strategy event kicks off on 10 January. Of course, that means plenty of free loot, from other SSR rank characters to 30 Summon Tickets.
While Tower of God: New World might not be the world conquering success that Genshin Impact turned out to be, this beautifully rendered adventure allows players to explore the famous webtoon turned anime in a brand new way. You can find out more about the new events over on the Tower of God: new World website and join in on iOS and Android now.
