Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Has A Free Demo

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty - combat between two characters

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, the upcoming supernatural three kingdoms take from Koei Tecmo, just got a free demo.

Players looking froward to the three kingdoms clash from Team Ninja and Koei Tecmo can get a special hands on with the upcoming adventure for free. A new demo has surfaced, ahead of the full launch, allowing us all to jump into action and experience the path to glory from 16 September 2022 up until 26 September 2022 at 09:59 UTC. Players looking to avail themselves of this offer will need access to either an Xbox Series S|X or PlayStation 5, however. PC players need not apply.

The demo crams in a solid look at a dark Three Kingdoms world where chaos reigns. While this isn’t a physical manifestation of the Warhammer kind, things are still pretty grim. A battle rages on to save a once peaceful land that now lies in ruins. Demons crawl the fields and town, while people struggle to survive and hope to flee the terrors that infest their villages.
An extensive character creator opens up this demo, with plenty of combat coming afterwards. A tutorial is expected to lead us all into a series of swordplay encounters that lean heavily on Chinese martial arts. Online multiplayer will be turned on, so you can experience the thrill of battle alongside friends and enemies too. Anybody clearing the free demo will earn the special item “Crouching Dragon Helmet”, which can be equipped and used in the main game upon release.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Crouching Dragon Helmet

While it may be a lot more mythic than Rise of the Ronin, this epic adventure certainly seem to warrant a look when the demo costs nothing. For those of you waiting for the full release, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is scheduled to release in early 2023 on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, on PC via Windows and Steam, and will be available day one with Xbox Game Pass on console and PC.
