Soccer Story, an innovative soccer RPG, kicked off beta testing last night.
Warm ups have commenced for football RPG Soccer Story. Ahead of the full release across Steam, Game Pass, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation, publisher No More Robots has turned the floodlights on for a limited time. Players ready to try out this bright sports sim will, however, face a horrific scenario.
In a dystopian near future, The Calamity™ has torn apart the very foundations of soccer as we know it. Since then, Soccer Inc. has made dang well sure that not a soul has been allowed to even look at a soccer ball, let alone kick a ball. Anybody adventurous enough will head out with the aid of a magic soccer ball and an aim to remind the world about the beautiful game. An innovative mix of 1v1 kickabout combat, sporting challenges, and RPG-style puzzles make this open world escapade an enticing mix for anybody a bit bored of the age old FIFA clone. If that’s not enough, you’ll also battle sharks with your trusty ball. I mean footballing sharks!
Traditionalists can, of course, just grab some friends for 4 player local multiplayer matches on the hallowed turf too.
