Monitors move fast, and the Agon 5 range from AOC is no exception. The monitor manufacturer that has impressed us in previous outings is adding two extra options to their latest lineup. Gamers will have the choice between two 27 inch displays, featuring high refresh rate displays.
AGON AG275QZ/EU
The first of these two displays if the AGON AG275QZ/EU. Topping out at an impressive 240 Hz refresh rate (overclockable to 270 Hz), this display manages a 1 ms GtG and 0.5 ms MPRT response time, while reproducing 1.07 billion colors at QHD resolution (2560×1440. AOC purport coverage at 99.9% AdobeRGB, 100% sRGB, and 97.5% DCI-P3, all thanks to a Fast IPS panel with a Quantum Dot layer. This one is likely to be a great addition for anybody looking for fantastic pictures, or dabbling in content creation.
AGON AG275QZN/EU
The AGON AG275QZN/EU is a slightly less expensive alternative coming in at a similarly speedy 240 Hz refresh rate, 1 ms GtG and 0.5 ms MPRT response time. While the coverage of 9.3% AdobeRGB, 99.7% sRGB, and 89.9% DCI-P3 falls slightly below the previous model, there’s a significantly higher contrast ratio of 3000:1 across a QHD picture.
Both versions come with plenty of other thoughtful additions to make life easier. The stand is designed to reduce the footprint on the desktop, includes plenty of features to assist with cable management, while VESA DisplayHDR 400 and HDR10 support ensures that everybody gets great dynamic range when playing and creating.
