XD has just kicked off another expansive round of testing for the latest incarnation of an iconic ARPG. Torchlight Infinite is in Open Beta testing right now. The latest in the Torchlight franchise is available on iOS, Android, and PC right now for players to test their skills and try out this upcoming loot focused ARPG using a whirlwind of tech, spells, and the occasional time twisting dungeon experience.
Players who tried out earlier pre-release phases, like our earlier intrepid team, will likely be jumping in already and trying out the latest Hero traits for a taste of this exciting new adventure, coming to desktop and mobile systems. Anybody who hasn’t experienced this promising title can now get in and swing your sword before release in the Torchlight Infinite open Beta. New recruits will pick up the mantle of a hero dedicated to conquering the darkness and restoring light to the land of Leptis. Plenty of ways to play are on offer as this isometric take on a genre classic provides a massive variety of class types to tickle your fancy. Everyone from melee focused Berserkers to ranged Divine Shots, time tearing Spacetime Witness, and even the brand new Oracle have a range of traits and builds that make up a decidedly diverse set of combat mechanics. All in, there are six heroes on offer right now, with additional variations on offer, and more incoming already.
Whether you decide on fire or ice magic, tons of dungeons are available with almost every facet of power progression tied to the loot your gather. As the Open Beta kicks off, the team behind this Torchlight also revealed a new region to explore. New and old adventurers can brave the ancient City of Ichi. This formidable dungeon is home to a plethora of forbidden treasures and comes protected by a wealth of powerful adversaries.
