PowerSlave Exhumed Blasts Onto The Humble Store To Exhume Some Gritty FPS Nostalgia

PowerSlave Exhumed, the classic early era FPS is back and available now on the Humble Store.

PowerSlave Exhumed is back, and anybody old enough to remember the first release might find that this old school reincarnation of blood and sand still holds up pharaoh-ly well. Thanks to the teams at remaster legends Nightdive Studios and Humble, players can now step back into the ancient city of Karnak and investigate an incursion that requires a very visceral sort of response.

Taking control of a set of professionals and guided by the mighty Pharaoh Ramses’ spirit, players picking up this remastered version of the original will wield an array of very old and equally modern weaponry to dispatch trespassers. Using a variety of these weapons, from M-60 machine guns to the powerful Eye of Rah Gauntlet, players will cut through the Kilmaat hordes that stand before them. Along the way, there are plenty of ancient tombs, monstrous mummies, and other dangers to overcome as you battle to save the planet from gods and aliens.

This is just the latest retro remaster to hit shelves out of the Nightdive Studio, and brings back a game that originally booted into existence during 1996. Blasting onto MS-DOS PCs, the new PowerSlave Exhumed launched on February 10, 2022, on Windows PC, PlayStation 4|5, Xbox One and Series S|X, and Nintendo Switch thanks to a partnership between Nightdive Studios and Throwback Entertainment. Now, fans of titles like the original Doom and Turok, can purchase PowerSlave Exhumed for Windows PC (via Steam) on The Humble Store for $17.99 USD with a 10% off launch week discount.
