8Doors is getting a Switch physical release according to news coming out of publisher Neowiz.
Critically acclaimed 8Doors: Arum’s Afterlife is no longer simply a title existing on digital shelves. The story driven action platformer is getting a physical release thanks to publisher Neowiz and Red Art Games. For anybody who doesn’t need any convincing, 8Doors is available for pre-order. The EU physical edition can be purchased for €34.99 straight from the Red Art Games site. Shipping will begin on December 9th. The North American physical version of 8Doors is available for pre-order for $34.99, with shipping set to begin on January 13, 2023.
Taking inspiration from Koren folktales, 8Doors is a story riven action platformer where players must enter the afterlife. Playing as ‘Arum’, this adventure sets out to find her father’s soul and guide it through the 8 Doors of Purgatory to a final resting place. As the title suggests, 8 different areas of Purgatory await , each with their own challenges, puzzles, and enemies to take down. Fluid and unwielding combat keeps things from seeming too dead, while 21 unique boss encounters sit along the path through purgatory.
