Volition and Deep Silver have announced that the third DLC has slipped into Saints Row. “A Song of Ice and Dust” sends players to the new Vallejo district for a “strange showdown.” The DLC features one of the more creative themes we’ve seen here at Gamespace. According to the dev team, players will find a LARP-themed story that ends the Dustmoot story. The Boss and Gwen, epic “frenemies,” retain their hatred for one another despite all they’ve been through together.
What epic confrontation is complete without a bloody wedding betrayal? Devs have it covered with the Dustlanders betrayed during nuptials. It’s up to players to join forces and defend the Dustfaire from the Chill Queen and the Frostlanders by using paintballs, of course.
Developers are keen to show off this unusual premise. To do so, they’ve released a new trailer that offers a look inside the DLC at its features and gameplay options.
The DLC features five new campaign missions, a new enemy faction, four new vehicles, new weapons, and 20+ new outfits and cosmetics. In addition, all players will receive the third major free update that includes a new district to explore, QoL improvements, and several bug fixes. The DLC can be purchased as a standalone product or comes as part of the game’s Expansion Pass.
