The developers of RTS Age of Empires IV have taken to the official site to share more information about the upcoming Seasons Two and Three. With the first ranked season coming to a close on June 30th, the team decided it’s time to unveil the plans for the future.
“Before we get started on that, however, we wanted to say a big thank you to each and every one of our players who participated in Season One: Festival of Ages over the past few months. Whether you’ve been battling your way to Conqueror in the ranked ladder, collecting rewards with our Seasonal Events, or crafting mods for yourself and others to enjoy.”
Season Two will be introducing the player color picker, fully remappable hotkey layout, map preference system and more. Meanwhile, Season Three will be introducing the first iteration of Team Ranked and explore other meaningful changes to the Ranked based on the player feedback.
The third season will also be introducing two features that players have been asking for a while: Taunts & Cheats, heavily inspired by previous Age titles.
