Developer Triumph Studios and publisher Paradox Interactive have started the pre-orders for the upcoming turn-based 4X strategy game Age of Wonders 4. Additionally, the team shared the story trailer that you can find above. Mark your calendars: Age of Wonders 4 arrives on May 2nd, 2023. “The Wizard Kings return in the new story trailer for Age of Wonders 4, launching on May 2, 2023 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X and S. The Premium Edition is available now for pre-orders on all platforms, including additional in-game cosmetic options and the game’s Expansion Pass.”
The devs invite players to rule a fantasy realm of their own design, explore magical realms, partake in the signature blend of 4X strategy and turn-based combat that is so uniquely Age of Wonders. Control a faction that grows and changes as you expand your empire with each turn. The game will offer a new storytelling event system and hugely customizable empires that is sure to guarantee an endlessly replayable experience.
The game is available in two editions: Standard and Premium. Pre-ordering any edition will grant Aric Rex Ruler & the Athlan Imperial Armour set which consists of Athlan Crown, Lion Full Plate and Imperial Cape.

Empires and Ashes: The empires of mortals resurge after the devastation brought forth by the Wizard Kings! In the Age of Wonders 4: Empires and Ashes Expansion, players fuse magic and steel to unleash devastating war machines to drive the Godir back into the Astral Sea. This full expansion includes a new Culture, new Tomes of Magic, new Empire Building options and a new Story Realm.
Primal Fury: Channel Nature’s Spirits in the Age of Wonders 4: Primal Fury Content Pack. Create races using new beastly forms and a primeval culture, with new Tomes of Magic that tap nature’s hidden powers and the Fey realms.
