Check out a total 463 seconds of gameplay from the upcoming Along in The Dak Remake
THQ, the publisher behind the likes of Trine and Spellforce, just released a trailer for the upcoming Alone in the Dark remake, and it gives us a glimpse into what the final product might look like. A 2 minute 46 second trailer dropped on official channels last night, and the Looking for Jeremy trailer includes unedited gameplay snippets from across the new adventure.
While I’d much prefer long form looks at this type of gameplay, the limited release suggests that this will be an atmospheric experience. Gloomy neighbourhoods and dangerous situations seem rife, with little ammo in evidence as nightmarish monsters roam the streets. Maybe it’s better to run and hide when all you’ve got is a small sidearm and questions about your own sense of reality.
This isn’t the first Alone in the Dark trailer released, and we already know that this remake will include some seriously big problems for players heading back into the light. The new version of this iconic 90’s title is set to introduce us to a new twist on the original. Mixing psychological horror and southern gothic in 1920’s America, it follows Edward Carnby or Emily Hartwood as they search for missing persons in a town where the dark isn’t all you should be afraid of.
