Baldur's Gate 3 - Patch 3 Is Coming September 21 With Full Mac Support

Developer Larian Studios has taken to Twitter to reveal that the next major patch for turn-based cRPG Baldur’s Gate 3 is just around the corner. Mark your calendars: the new Patch 3 lands on September 21 and it will include full support for BG3 on Mac. Additionally, the devs shared a laudatory picture that contains the top marks from critics and some of their quotes. Check it out above!

The first major patch was focused on solving the most egregious problems and bugs such as crashes, progression blockers and more. Meanwhile, the second patch offered fixes for multiplayer issues and many optimization and performance hiccups. It also added a new epilogue for fans’ beloved Barbarian Karlach.

The game also received a number of hotfixes that tackled smaller or easier to solve issues. Most importantly, one of them addressed the bug that prevented players from enjoying the company of Minthara, an optional Drow Paladin companion.

Stay tuned to find out what is coming in Patch 3 once the devs are ready to share. Are you already playing Baldur’s Gate 3? Or are you waiting for the full Mac or Xbox support? Let us know in the comments below.

About Baldur’s Gate 3:

Gather your party and return to the Forgotten Realms in a tale of fellowship and betrayal, sacrifice and survival, and the lure of absolute power.

Mysterious abilities are awakening inside you, drawn from a mind flayer parasite planted in your brain. Resist, and turn darkness against itself. Or embrace corruption, and become ultimate evil.

From the creators of Divinity: Original Sin 2 comes a next-generation RPG, set in the world of Dungeons & Dragons.
