It’s fashion warfare today. Everybody needs the latest trend so why should gamers be any different. In the very latest lifestyle tie in, Call of Duty just got official Addidas trainers.
That’s right. The athleisure (yes that’s a thing) wear brand that has launched tie ins with companies like Marvel and Star Wars is now about to launch a piece of apparel that lets gamers get on the go and still stay on brand. Designed by rapper Pusha T, the trainers are officially called the “Adidas x Pusha T ‘Kingslayer’ Ozweego shoes”. After the massive success of the open beta this is not quite what we expected.
Activision, the publisher behind CoD, announced the line of footwear via a social media post and the design should be on streets sometime in November. The chances that you’ll find these in your local sports store is, however, slim. Only 300 pairs of trainers are being specially crafted and are being given away in a sweepstake competition.

While we are not affiliated with the giveaway, there’s nothing to stop you entering the fray, except for the following. Players looking to loot a pair of the Adidas x Pusha T ‘Kingslayer’ Ozweego shoes will need to register their Call of Duty account on a competition website. Once Modern Warfare hits shelves they will have until 11:59 PM PDT on November 1 to hit level 56 to be eligible.
Once the sweepstake closes, Activision will draw 100 winners from North America and another 100 from EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) regions. We don’t know where the other 100 pairs are going to drop but it’s a fair guess that you’ll see them on the soles of a few influential Youtube warriors. If you are getting ready for the release of Modern Warfare would you even take these Call of Duty trainers on an excursion or are they just too rare? You can find out about the latest Call of Duty release over on the official website before it hits PC and consoles in a few days.
