Aether Games has announced an upcoming digital card game based in the world of Robert Jordan. Called Cards of Eternity: The Wheel of Time, the game will be released for Windows computers and later on mobile and console devices. A PC closed beta is planned for this summer. Players can head to the game’s official site to sign up for a chance to be selected as a beta tester. Those lucky enough to be chosen will unlock rare in-game content.
According to the team, the game will feature unique and strategic battles against cutting-edge AI opponents. Each card will be hand-crafted and brought to life using CGI sequences. Players can craft cards, collect deck-boosting relics, and participate in an in-game economy where players can buy, sell, trade, or rent out their cards.
