Marvel and Arcade1Up have revealed an all new X-Men ’97 Arcade Cabinet , perfect for those 90’s feels.
Bring a bit of nostalgia to your front room or play space and take home the X-Men you remember. Forget having to trudge down to the arcades in the appalling February weather., because Marvel and Arcade1UP have just announced a new full size X-Men ’97 inspired machine. Designed to celebrate the mutant animation coming to Disney+, the new must have home accessory comes plastered with iconic X-Men inside and out.
Legendary pre-loaded titles such as Marvel vs Capcom 2, X-Men vs Street Fighter, and Marvel Super Heroes come crammed into the back of this machine. That means you’ll be able to grab an arcade stick solo, or with a friend, and pit Cyclops against Ruy, Iron Man against Psylocke, or just see how far Wolverine’s healing factor really goes. With over 36 fighters in Marvel vs Capcom alone, there should be plenty pair ups to try against your friends and family. Of course, if you can’t find a player 2, then the new arcade throwback comes with online features. Wi-Fi functionality and online leaderboards will allow players to compete with others and finish those comic book debates in the arena. This isn’t the only modern add on you’ll get. Inside the brightly colored cab comes a light up marquee, 17 inch BOE Colour Monitor, 2-player control deck, and 3-D faux coin doors.

This is far from the first Arcade cabinet that Arcade1UP have put together. The manufacturer specialize in bringing back old school experiences in their fullest form. Since I don’t have a working Quest headset to play Under Cover, I’m already eyeing up the Time Crisis cabinet. If you’ve got about 61.5’ x 23.5’x19.6’ going free, then you know what to fill it with.
