This April, grab your shield and get ready to overthrow your enemies as MMORPG Conqueror’s Blade Season III: Soldiers Of Fortune begins on April 21.
Conqueror’s Blade, the MMO that pits players against each other in a territory war is about to launch its third season of time-limited content. You might have caught the first inklings of these seasons last year, shortly after Conqueror’s Blade launched. Now the battle for victory, brought to PC by My.Games, is ready to deliver even more to its player base.
The Front Lines
Alongside a new chance to overcome your enemies on the massive open-world battlefronts of Conqueror’s Blade, the third season introduces a bunch of new content for warlords. Pick up your banner and add five new units to your ranks. Inspired by the units of renaissance era Italy, developer Booming Games is bringing in the big guns. Leading the charge is a new Tier 5 artillery unit. The first of its kind, this explosive new addition is armed with cutting edge gunpowder that fires cannons that will tear through enemy ranks.
This game-changing unit is accompanied by the following additions:
· Pavise Crossbowmen (Tier 5) are paid well enough to afford heavy shields and crossbows capable of puncturing chainmail.
· Fortebraccio Pikemen (Tier 4) are cavalry killers that take their name from their fallen captain Mastino Fortebracci, a legendary soldier of fortune.
· Condottieri Guards (Tier 3) are swordsmen well-balanced in attack and defense and are typically the first to charge and last to retreat.
· A new Mercenary unit that can be recruited by spending Silver or Sovereigns on the Unit Tree: the Martellatori (Tier 1). Though not mighty warriors, these hulking builders can push siege engines and easily soak up damage that would kill lesser men.
More New Hardware
Alongside the new cannon fodder, commanders can pick up some new hardware of their own. This season sees the introduction of a brand new class. The eleventh class in Conqueror’s Blade is the Maul. A massive war hammer, this two-handed weapon can crush enemy lines and slam home the attack. It is all brute force and it looks brilliantly brutal.
